In fact, our Lord came to announce Good News, and St. Francis was filled with joy because he saw goodness all around him. It's just a matter of wanting to see it and giving thanks for the goodness that is happening around us and in our world.

That's the spirit of a Capuchin-Franciscan, and it's why the friars have a reputation for being happy and down-to-earth, for seeing people and things as they really are, as God sees them.
