Life Income Giving

In almost every way, the friars depend on the generosity of friends and benefactors. Saint Francis was convinced that God would provide for the friars through the goodness of others. In fact, he demanded that his friars be beggars, trusting completely in God's providence, as shown in the generosity and love of others.

The following options listed below are ways that you can help support the life and ministries of the Capuchin friars.

Charitable Gift Annuity

The charitable gift annuity is one of the earliest and most popular forms of life income giving. It is also one of the easiest arrangements that can be made between a donor and the Capuchin Friars.

Bequest

Your will is an important legal document that allows you to carry out your individual objectives. Through a bequest stipulated in your will you can continue to achieve those values you believe to be important, and you can show your love and concern for family members and friends.

Charitable Lead Trust

A charitable lead trust is a useful tool for those people who want to pass property on to family members at the lowest possible gift tax and estate tax cost and who, at the same time, want to make a gift to a charitable institution.

Life Insurance

Life insurance provides persons who are charitably inclined several ways of giving that will benefit them as well as the charitable institution.

Charitable Remainder Trust

A charitable remainder trust is an agreement between a donor, such as yourself, and a charitable organization, such as the Capuchin friars, which provides you and another person, if so desired, with a lifetime income.
