Saint Francis of Assisi had a wonderful affinity for all of nature, and he seems to have had an ability to communicate with animals of all kinds. In the town of Gubbio, Francis directed a wolf to stop terrorizing the townspeople. At another time he preached to attentive birds. He is the perfect patron saint of pets and pet-oweners. We invite you to enroll your pet in the Capuchin Franciscan Pet Club.
